Our Story...
There once was girl with a travel show and a love for wine. One day, this New Yorker met a handsome Venetian at a Beverly Hills restaurant. He was also a traveler and wine aficionado. They saw each other periodically throughout the years thanks to a good mutual friend (Grazie Michelle). After many years of the Venetian seeking a partner with which to share adventures and wine and Michelle’s insight (“You know who would love to be treated like a princess and is absolutely perfect for you….Allison”), the Italian asked the New Yorker if he could come on as a financial supporter and producer of her travel show. There was a resounding YES!
The New Yorker and the Venetian survived a tumultuous, life-threatening storm traveling to their first shooting location on Catalina Island, eventually having to secure a helicopter, and bonded on the Queen Mary and in Avalon. Throughout the Catalina filming experience, the co-producers found they relied, trusted, and admired each other. Having enjoyed this adventure so intensely, they decided to embark on more exploits…both on and off screen.
Travels took them to Napa, Hawaii, and Santa Ynez (too many times to count). They liked each other’s company so much that they were suddenly spending all of their time together. They decided to make it “official” in November 2011, even though all of their friends already knew they were “together. “
Producing, wine, and travel adventures continued to the Yucatan, Tulum, New York, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Area 51, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Siena, Rome, Austria, Germany, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. They’ve gone on road trips through the Western United States, Europe, and Mexico. Favorite past times include climbing ancient pyramids (plus if they spot a skull), attempting to surf in the Pacific, exploring medieval villages and castles in Europe, wine tasting, and showering love unto their royal Welsh Corgi.
The Venetian proposed in the olive grove of one of their favorite vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley – Demetria Estate.
The New Yorker, Venetian, Welsh pup, and Van Nuys kitty (yeah, Venetian came with a cat) plan to live happily ever after in Marina del Rey, but vow to be never truly “settled.”
